#YOUTH FIRST CHARTER

A National Concern for Youth Wellbeing and Empowerment Under the aegis of the Global Social Scientific Research Trust

Preamble

The strength of a nation lies not in its wealth or power, but in the wellbeing, wisdom, and empowerment of its youth. Recognizing this truth, Youth First emerges as a national movement dedicated to ensuring that every young person in India is given the opportunity, support, and environment to thrive with dignity, purpose, and hope. This Charter serves as a declaration of our shared commitment — to place youth wellbeing and empowerment at the heart of national development and collective conscience.

After the 15-point guidelines of the Hon’ble Supreme Court highlighting the importance of preventive and promotive youth welfare measures, it is now imperative for the nation to take a united stand. Youth First calls upon all stakeholders — government, corporate bodies, educators, civil society, and media — to rise to this national concern. Together, we can create a culture where every youth is valued, supported, and empowered to flourish. Our Commitment We pledge to: Prioritize youth wellbeing in every educational, social, and institutional policy. Create safe and inclusive spaces for dialogue, participation, and growth. Support innovation, research, and mentorship programs for youth development. Build national partnerships that sustain the movement for generations to come. Endorsement By signing this Charter, individuals and institutions affirm their commitment to the vision and mission of Youth First: A National Concern — and pledge to uphold youth wellbeing and empowerment as the foundation of a stronger, kinder, and more resilient India.
